Welcome to the New Hampshire Senior Games web site. This new design and added content has been in development for several months. We are proud of the finished product and hope that it will provide all the information needed for the 2017 games.

This year's games is our 30th year of providing sporting events for Senior Athletes of New Hampshire. This is a non-qualifying year for the 2017 New Hampshire Senior Games.
New Hampshire is an open state and out of state residents are welcomed to participate and quality for the National Senior Games in a qualifying year.
NH Senior Games gives adults the opportunity to compete with peers in a variety of activities and, more importantly, to enhance their fitness, health and quality of life. NHSG has no paid staff and relies on many volunteers to assist in putting on this 14 day program along with 60+ events.
NHSG is the leader in fitness for Senior athletes in New Hampshire. Everything we do focuses on our mission of Fitness, Friendship and Fun. Whether you are just beginning or have been active all your life, there are sports here for you to compete at your level. No experience necessary.
Deadlines for online registration for individual sports is one week prior to the day of the event. Same day registration will be allowed for some sports.
Basketball registration deadline is July 30, 2017.Road Race will be held once again in conjunction with the St Charles Children's Home Annual Fundraising event to be held on Labor Day, September 4, 2017 at Pease International Trade Port in Portsmouth, NH.
Important changes to the 2017 State games.
NEW AGE GROUP
Participants are now eligible to complete in a new age group 40-44, 45-49 as of Dec 31, 2017. Only athletes age 50+ may qualify for the National Senior Games in a qualifying year. Basketball age has also been reduced to a minimum age of 40 as of 12/31/2017.
This year we have lowered fees to $25 on the following sports; Archery, Bowling, Horseshoes, Racquetball and Shuffleboard. If you register for any two sports, the fee will be $45, excluding golf. The golf fee is in addition to other fees and has been lowered from $55 to $48 for 2017.

We will be using the FuseSPORT system for registration again this year.
We would like to thank Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, HUMANA and John Castelot, Financial Planner for their continued support of the NH Senior Games.
Volunteers are the life blood of many non-profit organizations. The NH Senior Games are always in need of energetic, dedicated volunteers to assist us during the games. Each volunteer shift will run approximately 3-4 hours. Positions include athlete check in, score keeping, staff assistant, hospitality, etc. Each volunteer will receive a 2017 NH Senior Games T-shirt. We have openings to join the Board of Directors of The Granite State Senior Games, Inc. which host the NH Senior Games. There is no minimum age to join the Board. Please contact Jim Eddinger at (603) 533-6975 or email@example.com if you have an interest in serving as a volunteer Board member.

The mission of the New Hampshire Senior Games (NHSG), formerly known as the Granite State Senior Games (GSSG) is to promote, organize & effectively develop physical challenges, as they relate to the NH Masters Athlete and the 50+ population of the State of New Hampshire, undertake related activities benefiting the well being of adults as appropriate, and focusing on the development of active & healthy lifestyles. The mission is accomplished by encouraging fitness and by providing athletic competition in a variety of sports, clinics and creative pursuits.
Who We Are
Founded in 1987, Granite State Senior Games, Inc. is a not-for-profit (501c-3) all volunteer sports and fitness organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Granite State Senior Games' (GSSG's) sporting events are now known as the New Hampshire Senior Games (NHSG). We are New Hampshire's premier multi-sport event for the 50+ population. NHSG is the only New Hampshire organization in the state to be sanctioned by the National Senior Games Association (NSGA) to qualify senior athletes for participation in the National Senior Games held every two years.
